Third largest city in Vietnam and main entry point of the central region, Danang has been developing incredibly fast in the past few years, becoming a thrilling mix of modernity and traditions. This tour reveals the fascinating history and spectacular beauty of this town. From the ancient Han Market to the Linh Ung Pagoda, from the Cham Museum to Marble Mountain offering breathtaking views, discover the wonders of this exciting city.
08:00am, depart from the hotel for Marble Mountain. Climb Thuy Son (‘Water’ Mountain) by the stone stairs and enjoy the panoramic view of the nearby countryside, and visit Huyen Khong cave before entering Tam Thai and Linh Ung pagodas where you will be rewarded by great city views and amazed by the main cave which houses a beautiful Cham Buddha sitting under a natural shaft of light. Rest at the foot of the mountain, where you can visit Non Nuoc Stone Carving Village, where the local skillful sculptors create many marble products which are exported to many countries worldwide.
Continue on to visit the Cham Museum. Relax and enjoy lunch in a restaurant with a stunning view to the beach, before driving around Son Tra peninsula named as Monkey Mountain – the screen of Da Nang City.
Visit Linh Ung Pagoda, where exists the highest Goddess of Mercy Statue of Viet Nam. The pagoda offers stunning views of Danang beach and Cham Islands in the distance.
Pay a visit to the French & Spanish Cemetery, to the memory of soldiers of a joint expedition led by French admiral Rigault de Genouillly in 1858. We have a free time for sea bathing at Da Nang Beach before heading back to Hoi An.
